An unknown and (as of yet) uncaught assailant
spray-painted a bull and the word "Conquista" on a 1929 Picasso painting at the Menil.
This isn't a case of an
emotional outpouring or
drunk mess. Initial reports point to the vandal being an "up-and-coming Mexican-American artist" who wanted to pay some sort of tribute to Picasso.
