Neither did this guy.
I'll be giving the exam no matter how many retweets you have, because a deal is a deal.

Remember, you don't have to take my word for it
Just a basic Google search for "AP Art History notes," "AP Art History outline," or "AP Art History tests" will--almost instantly--give you more supplemental information and resources than you can even use. Find good stuff out there, and share with your classmates.
"come and crush a cup of wine"
Those of you not in APAH 4.0, please raise a toast or say a prayer or have a moment of silence or do whatever is you do for the test takers this afternoon.
Numbers
Today I asked students to predict their score on the AP exam. The average of the predictions is 3.31.
For comparison, the averages for my classes over the past three years were 3.06, 3.50, and 3.45. The averages for the exam overall were 2.85, 2.89, and 2.74.
Picture of the Day
Never Mind....
After finishing our 5-minute essay practice today, I read that there will no longer be 5-minute essays on the AP Exam. There will now be six 10-minute essays!
Mesopotamia Supplement
I'd start at ArtLex and check out their concise summary with links.
And, aside from your textbook and CD, I'd probably leave it at that. If you find anything cool to share, please let me know.
Prehistory Supplement
Art History Resources: the motherlode of art history links.
Gotta support students: a senior seminar project on prehistoric art.
A primer on the Art History Archive.
A 3-D virtual tour of Lascaux Caves--in French, no less!
Juxtaposition
Personal note: we start Power of Art next week. I fear Art History 2.0 will not be as fanatical about Simon Schama as 1.0, and I fear it will make me like them less. There, I said it.
Reading List
A local AP Art History teacher is compiling a list of resources to share with teachers and students. He's soliciting help from all the teachers on teh College Board e-mail list, so it should get bigger and better soon. Check it now and then.
That sneaky College Board
Remember the Guggenheim/Guggenheim question on the AP exam? At the AP conference this week, a member of the test development committee said that they photoshopped "Guggenheim Museum" out of the New York photo. Otherwise, they felt, the "Both of these buildings are museums" question would be a little too easy.
